Does religion play a role in terrorism?.Students will prepare one research paper involving an examination and analysis of a specific terrorist organization. This paper will analyze the organization, structure, operations and financing of that particular group. The student will discuss the effectiveness of this organization as well as the pros and cons of counter-terrorism strategies employed in response. Topics will be approved in advance by the professor.
At least five (5) different research resources should be used at a minimum. The paper will emphasize concepts from this course as they apply to the case study. Students are expected to demonstrate the use of concepts presented in this course. APA Format is the required format for submission. Papers are expected to be a minimum of 10 pages in length (typewritten and double-spaced). Paper will be e-mailed to the instructor by the last day of class. The paper should include the
