a. What is the underlying principal or philosophy of law that underlies the code?

b. What does the code reveal about the social hierarchy in ancient Mesopotamia?

c. What does the code tell us about the status of women in ancient Iraq? Does the code offer women any protections?

d. What aspects of dealing with everyday are revealed in the code? How is this similar or different to the law in contemporary America?
